Comprehensive Counseling & Guidance ProgramsTHE COMPREHENSIVE COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO BENEFIT ALL STUDENTS. THE PRIMARY GOAL OF COUNSELORS IS TO BE STUDENT ADVOCATES AND WORK TO PROMOTE SCHOOL CHANGE BY MEANS OF ADVOCACY AND DATA THAT DEMONSTRATE THE IMPORTANT CHANGES THAT ARE MADE WITH A PROPERLY IMPLEMENTED GUIDANCE PROGRAM.
Response ServicesRESPONSE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO DEAL WITH A VARIETY OF NEEDS THAT MAY OCCUR DURING A FAMILY'S EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE SUCH AS LOSS OF A LOVED ONE, STUDENT ANGER MANAGEMENT ISSUES, ETC. COUNSELORS AND THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST ARE AVAILABLE TO HELP DEAL WITH ACUTE ISSUES AND TO HELP IDENTIFY RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES IF STUDENTS NEED MORE INTENSIVE EMOTIONAL INTERVENTION.
